That's all from this game! Hyderabad outclass Chennai in this game! They have won back-to-back games now and they will look to continue the momentum gained going forward. Chennai, on the other hand, need to do something about their batting. They have struggled in their last three games and have to improve considerably. On Saturday, we have our first double-header day of this edition of the Indian T20 League. The first match is between Rajasthan and Bangalore, which will be followed by the clash between Delhi and Kolkata. All the action starts at 1400 local (1000 GMT). Join us for that. Until then, cheers and take care.
For his brilliant 51 off just 26 balls, Priyam Garg is named the Man of the Match! Garg says he felt very nice as this is a great stage for him as there are a lot of seniors here. Garg tells he was looking to play his natural game and thanks the team management for backing him and allowing him to play his natural game. Tells he was just looking to play his shots and they bowled there luckily. Says he has been playing with Abhishek since childhood. Tells an innings like this always increases the self-confidence.
Hyderabad's Afghanistan superstar, Rashid Khan is now caught down for a quick chat. Rashid says that it is good to be back in form and bowl in the right areas. Tells the fuller you bowl here, it becomes easier for the batter to hit you for sixes. Tells he does not focus on his wickets but looks to bowl tight and he is quite happy with his figures. Rashid thinks they do not go after him and tells he is looking to reduce the loose deliveries. Credits Garg and Abhishek Sharma for their efforts and says they have been practising a lot in the nets. Tells Samad is capable of doing a proper all-rounder job as he can hit the long balls and bowl as well. Tells Samad is a calm guy and he is always cool which Rashid likes about him. Tells he was smiling when he was asked to bowl the final over.
Hyderabad skipper, David Warner says that he backed Samad and admits he did not have any other option. Tells he bowled Khaleel because he wanted to kill the game in the penultimate over. Tells if you bowl stump to stump here then it is hard and was happy to see some swing today. Warner tells he is proud of the youngsters and tells that they went out there,  assessed the conditions and tells the way they played was outstanding. Jokes that he did not know Muralitharan was here and tells the guys train with all the deliveries and they try to execute it out in the middle.
Chennai skipper, MS Dhoni admits he was unable to middle the deliveries and feels he was hitting too hard. Tells he is fine and says it is very hot and his throat got dry. Admits they need to get a lot of things right and take catches and not bowl No Balls. Feels they are making the same mistakes. Tells nobody wants to drop catches but after a while, they have to draw the line and catches like these can hamper the side. Feels there are plenty of positives in this game and he says they will come back stronger.
Earlier in the day, Priyam Garg's quickfire half-century and some good contributions from Abhishek Sharma and David Warner helped Hyderabad post a good score of 164 on the board. At one stage, they did not look like they will score above 150 but Garg flayed the ball all over the park and helped his side post a daunting score on the board.  Chennai bowlers were brilliant up until the 14th over and that's when they lost the plot as they conceded plenty of runs and were messy in the field as well. Then they needed a good start from their top order but it was not to be and it left a lot for the lower order to do and they ended up on the losing side yet again. Stay tuned for the presentation ceremony!!!
Hyderabad's bowling was top notch! They were not in the mood to give easy runs away and they did just that. They kept a tight hold on the run-scoring and even picked up wickets at regular intervals. The biggest concern for them would be the injury to Bhuvneshwar Kumar as he went off in the 19th over and Hyderabad would hope that he is fit and fine to go in the future games. All the bowlers bowled really well  with Natarajan picking up 2 wickets. He was expensive but his wickets went a long way in helping Hyderabad achieving a victory. Rashid Khan was the most economical bowler for them as he gave away just 12 in four overs but went wicketless. Overall, it was a good performance from Hyderabad in the bowling department.
Chennai did not get off a good start at all as they lost Watson very early on in the innings while Rayudu and the man-in-form, Faf du Plessis could not last long as well.  Chennai struggled throughout the innings and they did not show intent until the last 5 overs. Jadeja and Dhoni started off too slow but they pressed on the accelerator a little too late. Jadeja's fifty and Dhoni and Curran's blows, in the end, were not enough to get Chennai over the line. Their batting has been a real struggle in this tournament and they need to come back stronger in the next few games.
Another day! Another tight match we have had in the Indian T20 League! In the end, it is Hyderabad who takes the honours. There were some nerves in the end for them but they prevailed and have beaten Chennai. Back-to-back wins for Hyderabad while Chennai lose their third game of the tournament.

SIX! Curran finishes it in style but it is not enough! Tossed up on middle, Curran comes down the track and hits it straight over Abdul Samad's head for a biggie. Does not matter though! HYDERABAD WIN BY 7 RUNS!

Abdul Samad To MS Dhoni
Flighted on off, Dhoni comes down but hits it to wide long on for one. Samad, you new superstar for Hyderabad. Brilliant final over from the young Abdul Samad.

Superb! Take a bow Abdul Samad! Floated full on off and middle. Curran comes down the track and hits it to deep mid-wicket for a single. Now two legal deliveries will do for Hyderabad.

Abdul Samad To MS Dhoni
Short and quick around off, Dhoni pulls it to deep mid-wicket and gets just a single. 16 off 3 needed now.  Sam Curran over to you.

FOUR! Good ball but Dhoni has hit it like a bullet! Tossed up very full on off, Dhoni comes down a bit and hits it straight and hard past Samad for a boundary. 17 needed now off 4 balls.

Flatter on off, Dhoni comes down the track and hits it to long on and gets two as Manish Pandey misfields there. 21 off 5 needed now.

Abdul Samad To MS Dhoni
FIVE WIDES! Way down the leg side, Dhoni comes down the track but misses. Bairstow behind the stumps misses it and the ball goes between his legs and the ball goes to the fence. 23 needed off 6 balls now.
A huge opportunity for a youngster to become a star. If Samad or Abhishek can defend 28 off the final over then they will become a superstar. It will be the leg spin of Abdul Samad who will bowl the final over. A huge call from Warner. A few years ago Axar bowled the final over against Dhoni and was taken to the cleaners.

SIX! Just what Chennai needed! Poor from Khaleel. He bowls a length ball on off and middle, Dhoni pulls it flat over mid-wicket for a biggie. 29 off 7!
Dhoni is having some trouble now and looks like he too is having some muscular issue. The physio is out now to have a check on him.

Khaleel Ahmed To MS Dhoni
MISFIELD AND FOUR! Poor from Samad. Back of a length on middle, Dhoni pulls it to the left of deep mid-wicket. Samad gets there but the ball goes between his legs and to the fence.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has once again pulled out of his run up and he has just signalled that he cannot bowl. So it will have to be someone else who will have to finish this over. Well Warner has decided it will be Khaleel Ahmed who will bowl the remainder of the balls. Meaning one of the spinners will have to bowl the final over.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has pulled out of his run up and walking gingerly. He is stretching now. Looks like a muscular issue and seems like he is done now. Not something Hyderabad would have wanted. Not something any cricket fan wants to see. 5 balls of this over remaining and if Bhuvneshwar cannot bowl it will have to be one of Abdul Samad or Abhishek Sharma.  Well Bhuvneshwar Kumar has his thigh strapped up and looks like he will continue to bowl. This is a risky move as this can worsen the injury for him and if it gets worse Hyderabad might not have him for the remainder of the tournament.

Very low full toss on middle and off. Sam cannot do much but just play it to long on for one. Over to you, MS!

T Natarajan To Sam Curran
SIX! Sam Curran has hit one of the biggest sixes off the first ball he has faced. Bouncer on middle, Curran pulls it way over backward square leg for a biggie.
Sam Curran joins his skipper out in the middle.

T Natarajan To Ravindra Jadeja OUT!
OUT! CAUGHT! Fifty and out for Jadeja! This is what the pressure of the required runs going up does. Short ball on middle, Jadeja pulls it but straight to Abdul Samad at deep square leg. He does not have to move an inch and the youngster takes a simple catch. Dhoni is still out there and the batters have crossed as that catch has been taken. No, they have not crossed.
