It was Tamim Iqbal who made all the difference today for the Bangla Tigers. He batted with precision and intent and stood out till the end to power his team to a competitive total. Netherlands tried hard but couldn't really get going. A big innings was required but their batsmen failed to shoulder the responsibilities. Myburg and Borren looked well but fell on important junctures to add to the pressure. A mere 8-run but Bangladesh will be happy after opening their account.

What a match we have had! Bangladesh have managed to cross the line after a bit of a scare from the Dutch. On the back of a good show by the ball, they have defended a good total put up by their batsmen. Shakib was the pick of the bowlers with good support from Al-Amin as they picked up 2 wickets apiece.
