The undoubted Man of the Match for today is Darren Sammy for a truly astonishing innings. That's it from this game. The India vs Bangladesh game is up next.

Chris Gayle had set this up very nicely but in the middle overs, the Australian bowlers continued to choke the run-flow and chipped away with crucial wickets. They controlled the majority of the match but then when it mattered, Darren Sammy smashed 19 off the Starc and that gave him the license to bury Faulkner deep deep, down under.

This has to be one the most extra-ordinary climaxes in the history of World Twenty20. Phew, Darren Sammy, whaddaaplaaya! Australia must have thought that this game was in their hands when 42 were required off 18 balls. Then entered the stage, the captain himself, Darren Sammy and he scored a breath-taking 34 off a staggering 13 balls!
