Umar Akmal is named the Man of the Match. That's all from this game. Let's hope that the India vs West Indies game coming up now very shortly also gives us plenty of entertainment.
The target was a huge one for Australia, 192 and the start wasn't ideal. Zulfiqar Babar removed Warner and Watson in the first over itself but then the counter-attacking from Australia was breath-taking. It was a one-man show from the Big Show, Glenn Maxwell and the most attractive part of his batting was his hundred percent clean hitting. Aaron Finch played a handy part but he could never accelerate after Maxwell got out. Bailey, Hodge never got going and eventually, Pakistan trumped easily.
Eventually, Pakistan hold their nerves and keep their hopes alive in the Super10s. The best match of the Super10 stages so far and it's not based on how close the match was, it was based on two sparkling innings, which could have given either side a victory. Australia put Pakistan to bat first and Umar Akmal put on a dazzling display of batting alongside his brother, Kamran and just about narrowly missed out on a century.
