Early in the evening, Bangladesh bowled extremely well to keep Nepal to a paltry total, Al-Amin Hossain was the pick of the bowlers scalping two wickets for just 17 runs. Nepal never got going and in the end struggled to get to a decent score despite a late flourish from their batsmen.

A resounding win for Bangladesh then, they have given a real lesson to the minnows today! With that, they have almost ensured qualification into the Super 10s. The openers got them off to a flier as the ball flew all around the park. That knocked the stuffing out of the Nepal bowling attack. They managed to pick up the openers but that was all they could do. Shakib Al Hasan and Sabbir Rahman carried the momentum and finished the match in some style.
