ENG vs SA, 3rd ODI Highlights: The third and final ODI between England and South Africa was abandoned due to rain on Sunday and hence the series ended at 1-1, and now both teams will square off in three-match T20I series. Earlier, Quinton de Kock is going strong for South Africa in the third and final ODI against England as he has brought up his fifty. South Africa won the toss and opted to bat against England in the series decider on Sunday at Headingley in Leeds. Both teams remain unchanged from the last match, which England won. While South Africa thrashed England by 62 runs in the first ODI, the hosts came back strong in the second match, winning the rain-affected game by 118 runs. For England, Jos Buttler will look to seal his first series win as white-ball captain, having lost the T20I and ODI series against India earlier this month. For South Africa, it's crucial points on the table, with them having pulled out of the series against Australia next year, jeapordising their chances of directly qualifying for the 2023 World Cup.

This has been a disappointing game and the finale has been left incomplete. The series will be shared by the two teams as the rain gods have won here at Headingly. South Africa decided to bat first after winning the toss and got off to a decent start thanks to Quinton de Kock. He lost his opening partner Janneman Malan pretty early but constructed a lovely partnership with Rassie van der Dussen to take South Africa to a comfortable position. The partnership was broken just before drinks after which Aiden Markram and Quinton de Kock played through an interruption to keep the scoreboard ticking. Quinton de Kock remained unbeaten on 92 off just 76 deliveries to keep South Africa in the hunt for a series win but no further action was taken thanks to the pouring.

We have bad news for you. The match has officially been called off! South Africa and England share the series as it ends on 1-1. We were all set for a Super Sunday thriller with the series on line but the rain gods had other plans and the biggest enemy of cricket had the last say. We were nearing the cut off time but the forecast does not look good. The officials have taken the call in advance and decided to abandon the game. Not the end to the series we were hoping for!

Update - 8.16 pm IST (2.46 pm GMT) - With the way things seem to be going, it looks like Quinton de Kock will miss out on his century. That said, he will be pleased that he got some runs under his belt after missing out in the first two games. Just to add some positive news amidst this glum setting, the audience will be refunded half the price of the tickets if the game does not happen hereafter.

Update - 7.42 pm IST (2.12 pm GMT) - It is still raining in Headingly and the delay seems to be substantial. If South Africa do not get to bat and England get to play their 20 overs the target will be 175. Now, the whole ground is covered as the groundsmen are expecting the rain to stay for a long duration. You can enjoy the action between India and West Indies but also keep an eye here for further updates.

South Africa scored 40 runs in the 41 deliveries that were bowled in the short session between the two breaks. Jos Buttler decided to operate with spin from both ends, to try and bowl as many overs as possible before another interruption. Quinton de Kock has moved into the 90s and will be hoping he gets to come out and complete a much-deserved century. Aiden Markram has played second fiddle but has looked solid at the other end.
