Pakistan, on the other hand, were pretty inconsistent with their line and lengths and allowed the Aussie batters to score runs freely and also gave away a few too many extras. They struggled in the first session of Day 1, but after Lunch, Shaheen Afridi got them the breakthrough while Khurram Shahzad and Aamer Jamal made sure that they sent half of the Australian side back to the hut at Stumps. Agha Salman was very economical with his off-breaks but was unlucky not to pick up a wicket as they dropped a catch and missed a stumping as well on his bowling. They could have restricted the hosts a lot early if their catching was more effective. The pacers struggled again at the start of Day 2, but one bowler stood out for them, and it was Aamer Jamal who registered a brilliant five-wicket haul and ended up with six wickets on debut. Now, it is up to their batters to get close to or past the Aussie total to stay in the Test. Join us in a bit for Pakistan's reply.

Australia have posted a massive first innings total! All eyes were on David Warner with all the outside noise, and he responded in his own style with a smashing hundred scoring 164 runs. They were able to build up a few good partnerships which helped them to keep the runs flowing, and most of their batters got off to good starts as well but couldn't convert them into big scores. However, the local boy, Mitchell Marsh looked determined right from the start and made sure to make his knock a memorable one. He played brilliantly for his 90, but unfortunately, he just missed out on his hundred. The lower order could mot impact much and they will be a bit disappointed of not getting to that 500-run mark, but this is still a big total on this wicket.

113.2WAamer Jamal to Nathan Lyon
OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Aamer Jamal gets his sixth wicket and brings an end to the Australian innings! Steams in from over the wicket and hurls it on the sixth stump line, on a back of a length, Nathan Lyon is made to play at it due to the angle. The ball holds its line and Lyon gets an outside edge that goes straight into the bread basket of Agha Salman at first slip who does the rest. Australia have been bowled out for 487 in their first innings!

113.11 nbAamer Jamal to Nathan Lyon
NO BALL! Slanting into the right-hander, on a back of a length, at the batter, Nathan Lyon gets hurried as he goes for the pull and wears it near his midriff. It is called a No Ball because there were three fielders behind square on the leg side.
