There is a huge mix up in the middle as Karunaratne wants the single but Maheesh Theekshana is hesitant. Finch waits and waits and then throws it towards the keeper's end. Theekshana runs for his life and puts in the desperate dive but Matthew Wade with an exceptional keeping, runs in and throws the ball onto the stumps while diving. Ashton Agar hangs back and looks to lift it over mid off. He ends up skying it off the toe end of the bat behind mid off. Kusal Mendis back peddles and takes a fine catch.
