The University of Birmingham has two international-standard hockey pitches that have been re-carpeted in for the upcoming quadrennial event. The venue is expected to accommodate 6,000 spectators around the hockey pitch. Meanwhile, the all-glass squash court in the indoor arena will have more than 2,000 seats for spectators.
