Vijender weds Delhi girl; Rahul Gandhi attends ceremony

It's official. Indian boxing has a first family with Vijender Singh marrying his long-time girlfriend Archana in a private ceremony in Delhi on Tuesday. The guest-list which mostly included members of the family from both sides, also saw Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi register his presence.

The ceremony took place at the Flying Club and Rahul Gandhi, considered to be close friends with the Olympic medalist, was seen participating in the celebrations preceding the ceremony.

The reception is scheduled to take place in Bhiwani on Wednesday and is expected to be a gala affair with a list of important figures from the world of sports and politics, registering their presence to bless the couple.
