Vijender denies marriage reports

Star Indian boxer Vijender Singh denied reports that he is getting married next week on Monday. In the Australian city of Darwin to compete in the Arafura Games, where he will fight his first bout on Monday against a local hope, the 25-year-old Vijender said the reports of his marriage next week, that have come out in some newspaper here, are not true.

"I am not getting married. The reports are not true," Vijender told PTI from Darwin.

"I don't how this speculation started. Obviously I will get married but not as of now," he added.

Reports on Monday stated that Vijender would be tying the knot with a Delhi girl in his village Kaluwas on May 17 after returning from Australia.
