Brilliant Performance By Srikanth, Says Coach Pullela Gopichand

Coach Pullela Gopichand is very happy with ward Kidambi Srikanth's performances over the last three weeks. "It's fantastic to win back-to-back events, to be in the finals of three back-to-back Super Series events. To beat someone like Chen Long (reigning Olympic champion) in the final is something fantastic. It's a brilliant performance," Gopichand told NDTV. Srikanth's recent wins in Australia and Indonesia will put a mark on him at the World Championships in August, Gopichand feels. "He'll be one of the most-marked players at the World Championships... He will be one of the 6-8 people who would fancy themselves (a chance) to get a medal (at the event)," added the former All-England winner.
