Top Indian players for NSCI Badminton

Top Indian shuttlers, including world No 28 Parupalli Kashyap, are to take part in the Rs 5 lakh prize money NSCI All India Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament here from August 27-31.
The organisers are also in talks with Commonwealth Games champion and world No 6 Saina Nehwal and are confident of her participation in the event, according to joint tournament director Ashish Kapila.
Around 250 players would vie for honours in men's singles, men's doubles, women's singles, women's doubles and mixed doubles inside the air-conditioned courts at the Sardar Vallabhai Patel Sports Complex in Worli, a media release said.
Other top players who have confirmed their participation are Saurav Verma, Chetan Anand, Jishnu Sanyal, Anup Sridhar, Arvind Bhatt and Anand Pawar.
The tournament is to be organised jointly by the Maharashtra Badminton Association and NSCI, the release added.
