Indian Shuttlers Need to be More Consistent, Says Gopichand
Most of the Indian shuttlers are young and with more experience consistency will come, feels chief national coach Pullela Gopichand.

Indian badminton's chief national coach Pullela Gopichand on Friday said a little more consistency is needed from his shuttlers though he is satisfied with their overall performance. (Read more badminton stories here)
"Overall, it has been good. We have had varied number of players playing well. We need a little more consistency. Many of them are very young and I do expect that in the coming years, we will have that consistency come up as well," he said.
"There is always a scope for improvement. But, in general, I am happy with the way things are," he said when asked if he had any cause for concern.
Gopichand's remarks came against the backdrop of Indian shuttlers not winning any top-ranking tournament in recent months though many of them put up impressive performances in different tournaments at the international level.
Gopichand was speaking on the sidelines of announcement of 3rd edition of Corporate Badminton League (CBL) to be held here next month.
