Krishnamachari Srikkanth's 93 not out helped India beat Australia by 8 wickets in Melbourne in 1985. It was one of many wins which would win them the World Championship of Cricket that year.

Dean Jones hit 90 as Australia edged out India by just one run in a ran-affected game during the 1992 World Cup in Brisbane.

Sourav Ganguly's 100 went in vain as India crumbled in front of the mighty Australians during the horrible tour in 2000.

VVS Laxman was Australia's tormentor in 2004 when he smashed a century in Brisbane to help India cross 300 for the first time in Australia and also break Australia's 11-match winning streak against India.

Sachin Tendulkar's 91 helped India post 258/9 before Praveen Kumar destroyed the famed Aussie batting line-up as the visitors won by 9 runs to lift the Commonwealth Bank series in 2008.

In 2012, it was MS Dhoni's top-class finishing that saw India over the line against Australia with 12 needed off the last 4 balls.
