Gunther successfully defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest following a major interference from Finn Balor. Earlier, Shinsuke Nakamura defeated LA Knight to become the new WWE United States Champion. Bron Breakker defeated Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Naomi, Iyo Sky, and Bayley beat Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LeRae in the first match of WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2024.
