Ashes: Yearn for the Urn

Original cricket 'Ashes Urn' pictured at Lords cricket ground in London, that formed a part of an 'Ashes exhibition' that visited six cities in Australia between October 2006 and January 2007, marking only the third time in history that the Ashes Urn left the MCC Museum at Lord's and the first time it ever toured around Australia. The urn itself was bequeathed to Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), the owners of Lord's, on Lord Darnley's death in 1927 and became an exhibit in the London cricket ground's museum. Regardless of the result of the Ashes, the urn - which stands just four inches high - has always remained at Lord's. (AFP Photo)
