Jitu Rai, World No.1 in Men's 50m Pistol, shot a 555 in his elimination round to sail through to the qualification round of the event, slated for Tuesday along with the finals, on Day 4 of the ISSF World Cup (Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun) at Rio De Janerio's Olympic Shooting Centre. Abhinav shot 626.2 to finish 10th while Gagan managed a 622.8 to end 31st. Chain Singh, the third Indian in the fray in the category, finished in 52nd with a score of 619.4.
Day 5 has two finals lined up, both in the men's section. Along with the 50m Pistol, the Men's Double Trap medals will also be decided on the day.
