Chasing a target of 106, India crossed the line with seven balls to spare. However, India captain Harmanpreet Kaur had to retire hurt after picking up a neck injury. Earlier, Arundhati Reddy claimed three wickets to help India restrict Pakistan to 105/8. Arundhati returned figures of 3/19 while Shreyanka Patil also bagged a couple after Pakistan opted to bat. Nida Dar top-scored for Pakistan with 28 off 34 balls. The Indian bowlers maintained a tight line and length to stifle the Pakistan batters while picking up wickets at regular intervals.
