India, after winning 5-0 and 4-1 against Sri Lanka and Australia respectively, faced an obstacle when Kane Williamson-led New Zealand defeated the Men in Blue in the first match of the three-match ODI series. However, India bounced back in the second match to level the series 1-1. Speaking exclusively to NDTV, former India captain Sunil Gavaskar said that the visitors have presented different challenges to the hosts in all departments of the game. "New Zealand's attack is a lot better. They have variety of attacks, which includes top quality new ball bowlers backed by pacers and then a left arm spinner who has certainly learned from his experiences in the previous season and their batting unit is very good. If Kane Williamson starts getting runs then India might end up chasing quite a lot of runs."
