'How Can Sports Bill Stop Dope Cheats?' Says Gagan Narang IOA VP

Gagan Narang, the medallist from the London Summer Games is now the Indian Olympic Association Vice President. He and the other Executive committee members did not align with PT Usha for almost 18 months, but IOC’s directive to set the house in order and sports minister’s call for all parties to work together, ahead of the Sports Bill, have got him and the others to wave the white flag. Gagan now emphasises that with little time left for the 2030 and 2036 bids, it’s important to work as an united front, even more important to ensure clean sports. He waxed eloquent about the Sports Bill, calling it athlete centric.
