A new national body for all professional sports journalists named Sports Media India was launched on Thursday with media personnel from top organisations joining the executive board.

A new national body for all professional sports journalists named Sports Media India was launched on Thursday with media personnel from top organisations joining the executive board.
Sports Media India, comprising of print, TV, radio and internet journalists has been founded with the aim of fostering co-operation and solidarity among sports journalists of various media platforms and to promote sports journalism in the country.
The following is the entire Executive Board:
