Narang wins silver at Kuwait Shooting Grand Prix
India's ace marksman Gagan Narang clinched the silver medal in the men's 50m rifle three position event of the HH The Amir of Kuwait International Shooting Grand Prix.

India's ace marksman Gagan Narang clinched the silver medal in the men's 50m rifle three position event of the HH The Amir of Kuwait International Shooting Grand Prix.
Narang shot a total of 1165 (prone 395, standing 385, kneeling 385), to win the medal and get richer by USD 6000.
Narang had, on Wednesday, won a silver medal in the 10m air rifle event.
Sanjeev Rajput, the winner of the bronze medal in the men's 50m Rifle Prone event earlier, finished fourth with a score of 1160.
Sidi Peter of Hungary won the gold medal, his second of the tournament. Peter shot 1171 while the bronze medal was won by Serbian Nemanja Mirosavljev who shot 1162.
Narang, a multiple gold and silver medallist in the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games and the Guangzhou Asian Games, is a bright medal prospect at the upcoming Olympics in London.
