Manika Batra: The Indian Paddler On Unprecedented Olympic Run

Paddler Manika Batra became the first Indian to qualify for the table tennis Round of 16 in the Olympics. She achieved this feat at the Paris Olympics 2024.

Manika defeated France's higher-ranked Prithika Pavade with a score of 4-0. She registered a scoreline of 11-9, 11-6, 11-9, and 11-7 against the 19-year-old Pavade.
