Live streaming of Olympic Games Rio 2016 will be available. The Games will be held from August 5-21 in Rio. These are the first Summer Games to be held in South America.

STAR Sports and Doordarshan will telecast live action from Rio. Live streaming will be available in STAR Sports' digital property, Hotstar.

The opening ceremony will be held at the historic Maracana Stadium. Live TV can be seen in STAR Sports channels 1, 2, 3, 4 and their HD versions. The opening ceremony can be seen live from 4:30 AM IST (Saturday). India is eight and half hours ahead of Brazil.
