Mavericks exercise option for guard Beaubois
The NBA champion Dallas Mavericks have exercised their 2011-12 contract option for French guard Roddy Beaubois.

The NBA champion Dallas Mavericks have exercised their 2011-12 contract option for French guard Roddy Beaubois.
The Mavericks announced the move late Thursday before the start of the NBA lockout.
Beaubois missed 54 games this season because of a broken left foot, which he hurt last summer training with France, and then aggravated in the final game of the regular season. He had a second surgery on the foot this week. He averaged 8.4 points and 2.3 assists in the 28 games he played for the Mavericks.
