IPL 2022 Highlights Between Royal Challengers vs Gujarat Titans: Glenn Maxwell ended the innings in style as Virat Kohli's masterclass of 73 runs helped RCB win by 8 wickets vs GT. Virat Kohli departed after scoring a brilliant fifty while Faf Du Plessis was out after a well-made 44 in chase of 169 runs vs GT. Earlier, skipper Hardik Pandya hit a superb unbeaten fifty while Rashid Khan played some sublime shots at the end to help GT post 168/5 in 20 overs vs RCB. Earlier, batter David Miller departed for 34 runs. GT were jolted with two early wickets as Matthew Wade also departed after Gill was removed earlier. Well-set Saha was also run-out to leave GT reeling at 62/3 inside 9 overs. Openers Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill provided a good start but the latter soon fell to an epic catch by Glenn Maxwell. GT skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss and opted to bat against Faf du Plessis-led RCB. RCB will have playoffs qualification in their mind when they take on league leaders Gujarat Titans in a crucial IPL 2022 fixture from Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday. RCB are currently fifth in the Points Table with seven wins from 13 games while GT are placed at the top with 10 wins from 13 matches. A win for RCB would go a long way in putting them in a good position to finish in the top four in the group stage this season.
Hardik Pandya at the toss: "We are going to bat. The kind of situation we are in, we thought we can practice batting first and putting a good score on the board. One change, Lockie comes in place of Alzarri. Looks like a similar wicket to the one we played against Chennai, but I expect this to play better as this is an evening game."
Faf du Plessis at the toss: "We would have batted too. Looks a bit dry. One change. Sid Kaul comes in for Siraj. We have to win today and Delhi need to lose their game. Games like today brings out characters."
