Mumbai Indians (MI) are back on top of the points table, following victory by a margin of eight wickets against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in match 32 of the ongoing IPL 2020 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. KKR finished with a total of 148/5, after skipper Eoin Morgan won the toss and opted to bat. All-rounder Pat Cummins scored his maiden half-century in the IPL, smashing 53 runs off 36 deliveries in an innings comprising of five boundaries and two sixes. Cummins received support from Morgan, who scored 39 runs off 29 deliveries. Spinner Rahul Chahar was the pick of the bowlers, accounting for two wickets. The chase started off brilliantly with openers Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock, smashing the ball to all corners of the ground. De Kock continued to attack despite Rohit's dismissal helping his side get across the line with an unbeaten 78 off 44 deliveries. The South Africa batsman received support from all-rounder Hardik Pandya who played a fine cameo in the end. Varun Chakravarthy and Shivam Mavi accounted for a dismissal apiece for KKR. (SCORECARD)
