Suresh Raina: Led the team in the West Indies and ought to lead the middle-order now to avoid collapses. Has not done so, so far with considerable success. Needs to plug that repeating anarchy at the fall of a wicket, or two.

R Ashwin: Thrashed during the T20 in Manchester. Needs to know international fixtures are not IPL, Superkings is not Team India and sub-continent pitches are not like the English tracks.

Munaf Patel: Win the World Cup, he smiles, lose it and he smiles. Has not shown his hunger to be amongst the wickets and needs to take more advantage of the pace-friendly conditions in England.

Rahul Dravid: Much has been appreciated about this man on this tour. We won't add to it. Should look to make his last ODI series memorable for him and for the team.

Ajinkya Rahane: Took IPL by storm; took the only T20 against England by its horns and shred it to pieces. Too young to rely on completely but a good prospect nonetheless. Here is to hoping we are forced to change the headline above, after the ODIs beginning Saturday.
