England came out on Day 4, confident of building from a point of advantage. As events unfolded though, the hosts at the Lord's did face trouble although a mammoth target does seem in the offing ahead for India.

Skipper Strauss also walked by soon after on a personal score of 32, Harbhajan claiming his first of the tour.

The bowling was steaming in now and the English batsman looked under pressure as a determined Ishant Sharma looked to dig his claws in.

And reward came big when Ishant managed to find the edge of Kevin Pietersen's bat, a huge wicket considering the batsman had scored a double-century in the first innings.

Scoring though picked up soon after Broad completed his half-century. Boundaries started flowing in with considerable ease.

Prior too smashed a few arrogant shots and raced to his century as England declare their innings on 269, setting India a target of 458, largely due to a 163-run stand for the seventh wicket. At stumps, the visitors were 80/1.
