England came out on Day 4, confident of building from a point of advantage. As events unfolded though, the hosts at the Lord's did face trouble although a mammoth target does seem in the offing ahead for India.

Opener Alastair Cook though failed to make any impact as he was sent back early on by Praveen Kumar.
Zoom
Skipper Strauss also walked by soon after on a personal score of 32, Harbhajan claiming his first of the tour.
Zoom
The bowling was steaming in now and the English batsman looked under pressure as a determined Ishant Sharma looked to dig his claws in.
Zoom
And reward came big when Ishant managed to find the edge of Kevin Pietersen's bat, a huge wicket considering the batsman had scored a double-century in the first innings.
Zoom
Pietersen only scored a run as he took the long walk back after facing three deliveries in the innings.
Zoom
There was more success to come for Ishant however, as he followed KP's wicket with that of Ian Bell (0), getting the edge again and Dhoni showing his skill with the wicket-keeping gloves.
Zoom
Trott (22) was next in the way of the lanky pacer and England was reduced to 76 for 5 going into lunch.
Zoom
The second session of play again had Ishant firing in as the English batsman ducked for cover. Eoin Morgan (19) fell prey despite attempting to resist.
Zoom
The reversal only came when Matt Prior took charge of the situation for England. He anchored himself in and was well supported by Stuart Broad at the other end.
Zoom
The duo negotiated the bowling with confidence and struck the occasional boundaries to frustrate the Indians.
Zoom
There was the also the rare altercations but Prior kept his composure and completed a deserving half-century.
Zoom
Matters got a whole lot worse for India when Prior pulled straight to Gambhir at short-leg and the ball hit him on his arm.
Zoom
Gambhir walked off the ground with swelling evident and reports later emerged that he had been taken to a hospital for treatment.
Zoom
Scoring though picked up soon after Broad completed his half-century. Boundaries started flowing in with considerable ease.
Zoom
Prior too smashed a few arrogant shots and raced to his century as England declare their innings on 269, setting India a target of 458, largely due to a 163-run stand for the seventh wicket. At stumps, the visitors were 80/1.
