U19 WC 2022 India U19 vs Bangladesh U19 Super League Quarter Final Highlights: India U19 team registered a five-wicket win as they went past defending champions Bangladesh in the quarter-final match at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua. Chasing 112 runs for victory, India lost Harnoor Singh early and were immediately put on the backfoot by the Bangladesh bowlers. However, Angkrish Raghuvanshi (44) and Shaik Rasheed (26) added more than 50 runs for the second wicket to put India's run-chase back on track. India did lose two more wickets but eventually overhauled the target in 30.5 overs. Kaushal Tambe finished the game with a towering six and ensured India a semi-final berth where they are set to face Australia.
Earlier, batting first, Bangladesh were jolted by Ravi Kumar who struck triple blows early on in the match. The batters struggled to cope up with the tight lines and lengths as Ravi got rid of Prantik Nawrose Nabi after removing the openers inside the first powerplay. He bowled superbly to dismiss Iftakher Hossain Ifti for one run after getting the crucial wicket of Mahfijul Islam for an individual score of two runs. Spinner Vicky Ostwal took two wickets in the same over while Kaushal Tambe also struck along with a run-out to rattle the Bangladesh batting line-up and send them seven down. Bangladesh tailenders put up a brave fight after losing quick wickets cheaply and put on 111 runs on the board.
