Three Wins in-a-row as Indian Women Rout Malaysia 4-0
The Indian women's hockey team registered their third straight win defeating Malaysia 4-0 on Thursday. The six-match series against Malaysia is a part of the team's preparations for the Commonwealth Games 2014.

The opening goal of the match came in the fifth minute through Anupa Barla. It was a field goal. The second goal came in the 22nd minute when Jaspreet Kaur made no mistake in converting a penalty corner. India led 2-0 at half-time.
The second half of the match saw India scoring through Vandana Kataria and Amandeep Kaur in the 59th and in the 69th minute, respectively. Indian goalkeeper Savita made good saves. The Malaysians wasted both their penalty corners.
Speaking on Thursday's win, captain Ritu Rani said, "It is our third straight win against Malaysia. We are doing a lot of experiments during these matches for better preparations for the Commonwealth Games and things are going well. I am happy with the team's show and look forward to performing likewise in the rest of the matches".
India will play their next match on June 14.
