Chandigarh:

The Indian Hockey players have refused to play an exhibition match with film and TV stars in Chandigarh on Saturday.

The organizers of the match, Hyderabad-based AMR foundation alleges players demanded Rs 4 to 5 crore for participation in the event.

Ironically, the match was organized to promote the national game and to motivate the Indian squad in its campaign for World Cup hockey tournament.

Organizers are in a fix now as they have already roped in some film and television stars for the exhibition match.
