Nadal, who swamped Italian Simone Bolelli as he reached round two at Roland Garros to move a step closer to overhauling Bjorn Borg's six titles in Paris, said he'd like to put a little more time aside for his friend.
But short of early knockouts for both him in France and Llorente at Euro 2012 it wouldn't be possible.
"He's a great guy, a good person. But to meet up more often we both need to have some bad results!
"So hopefully we won't at least for a bit," smiled Nadal.
This time last year, with no international football on the immediate horizon, Athletic Bilbao striker Llorente met up with the Mallorcan for dinner in the French capital during the opening week of Roland Garros but the former is now getting ready for Euro 2012.
While Nadal looks to write another page in the Grand Slam record books the Furia Roja open their title defence against Italy on June 10 in Gdansk, Poland, berfore meeting the Republic of Ireland on June 14 and then Croatia on June 18.
