Ciao!!!
That's it from this game. Odisha FC exchange places with Mumbai City FC. The hosts go fourth while the Islanders go one place down to 5th. On Sunday, 12th of January, ATK FC will host Kerala Blasters FC which will begin at 1930 IST. Until then, cheers.
Awards!!!
Odisha FC collect the Club Award for winning the match this evening. Xisco Hernandez is given the Limitless Player of the Match Award. Xisco Hernandez bags the Winning Pass of the Match Award. Jerry Mawihmingthanga takes home the Emerging Player of the Match Award and Aridane Santana is the choice for the Hero of the Match Award.
Odisha FC enter into top 4!
A brilliant showing from the hosts. They were dominant in the first half but did not have anything to show for it but they came out all guns blazing in the second half. They started the second half in an attacking front and it took them just 2 minutes as Aridane Santana opened the scoring after a very good assist from Xisco Hernandez. The home team did not rest on their laurels and kept looking for their second. They killed the game off in the 74th minute when Aridane Santana and Xisco Hernandez reversed rolls. Aridane this time turned the provider and Xisco Hernandez hit a sweet volley. Mumbai City FC were second best throughout the game and hardly troubled Francisco Dorronsoro in goal. The only worrying thing for the hosts was that Xisco Hernandez was stretchered off. With hat-trick of wins, the Juggernauts move ahead of the Islanders in the points table and enter into the top 4.

Injury induced substition
Big blow this for Odisha FC. Xisco Hernandez has gone down and he is being stretchered off the field. He has been a vital cog of the home side and they would hope it is not something very serious. Martin Guedes replaces him. Mumbai City FC also make a change as Serge Kevyn makes way for Bipin Singh.

GOAALLLL!!!
The home side double their joy as Xisco Hernandez doubles their lead! Shubham Sarangi takes a long throw-in from the right. Aridane Santana looks to head it but cannot do so cleanly. It hits Valpuia and falls back to Aridane Santana who pulls it back towards Xisco Hernandez who blasts home first time. This might just seal the three points for Odisha FC and take them above Mumbai City FC into the 4th spot.

What a save!
Crucial, crucial save this from Amrinder Singh. Keeps Mumbai City FC in the hunt! Aridane Santana plays a lovely through ball from the right to find the charging Jerry Mawihmingthanga through the centre. Jerry beats his defenders and gets to the ball, he then has a shot but Amrinder Singh stretches his right hand and blocks it. Amrinder Singh manages to pounce on the spilt ball and pouches it. Super Amrinder on show there!

Second half begins!
Mumbai City FC get us underway in the second half. They will attack from right to left in this half.
All level at the break!
A good 45 for the home side but Odisha FC have failed to make it count. The hosts enjoyed more of the possession and spent the majority of the time in Mumbai City FC's half. The hosts had 9 corners but even though they possessed half threats they could not make Amrinder Singh work much. Mumbai City FC slowly grew into the game towards the fag end of the half and had half-chances of their own. But neither side failed to actually test the keepers and will need to play the ball higher up the field than in the midfield. Which manager's half time team talk will work its magic in the second?
45'
Half time!
The referee has blown the whistle for half time and it is 0-0 at the break.
45'

32'
Injury

30'

19'
Vital block
Xisco Hernandez whips in an inswinging ball from the right corner. It is headed away by Subhasish Bose but it falls to Gaurav Bora. He takes a touch and then takes a shot but after a block, it goes to Nandhakumar Sekar who looks to hit it at the near post but Pratik Chaudhari clears it away for a corner. The resulting corner is taken short but Odisha FC cannot make it count.
14'
Dangerous cross but no one at the far end
Modou Sougou with a vicious cross. Amine Chermiti plays a lovely through ball from outside the box to find Modou Sougou, he whips it in across the frame of the goal first time but there is no Mumbai City FC player at the receiving end of it.
9'
Off target
Nandhakumar Sekar gets the ball around the half line and he charges in with it. He gets to the left side of the box and whips a cross at the far post and finds Jerry Mawihmingthanga who is free in space but he hits it first time and hits it well over the post.

Toss
Mumbai City FC win the toss and pick the side. They will be attacking from left to right in the first half.
Anthem time!
The players from both teams are coming out of the tunnel and will line up for the Indian national anthem. Given Odisha's recent success at home, the crowd is really excited and trooped in large numbers to watch this clash. Minutes away from kick off.
Mumbai City FC - Playing XI

Odisha FC - Playing XI
Francisco Dorronsoro (GK), Gaurav Bora, Shubham Sarangi, Narayan Das, Carlos Delgado, Nandhakumar Sekar, Jerry Mawihmingthanga, Vinit Rai, Xisco Hernandez, Marcos Tebar (C), Aridane Santana.
Chance to displace Mumbai City FC!
Odisha FC get ready to welcome Mumbai City FC at the Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar with one motive - to extend their winning run at home and achieve a hat-trick of wins. If that happens, they will be able to break into the top 4 by displacing the visiting team on the points table. Their recent resurgence can be credited to the luck that their nominated home ground has brought and playing in front of their fans has certainly motivated them to do their best. Vinit Rai and Jerry Mawihmingthanga have been in rich form and have formed a strong connection with Aridane Santana who has been the chief goal-scorer for the hosts. Their backline has been leaky but at home, they have improved a bit defensively. The Islanders will be eyeing revenge for their thumping loss in the reverse fixture and given their unbeaten run on the road, one cannot take them lightly. In spite of losing Paulo Machado to injury, they have fared decently and the rest of the players have stepped up. Diego Carlos, Rowllin Borges and Mohamed Larbi have held their own in the centre of the park while Modou Sougou and Amine Chermiti have been firing in front of goal. Just like Odisha, the touring team also have a weakness at the back, notably against the crosses, and given the home team's attacking potential, we can expect them to exploit this vulnerability. Who will be placed at number 4 by the end of the evening?
