Enthralling finish
Wow! That was some finish to the game. 8 total goals and yet neither side end up as the winner. It was Odisha FC who had the advantage in the first half as Manuel Onwu scored a brace and Martin Guedes converted a penalty. An own goal from Narayan Das and a Messi Bouli special came from Kerala Blasters FC in the first half. The second segment started and Manuel Onwu bagged a hat-trick after Bilal Husain Khan made a foul in the 51st minute. The home fans would've felt that 4-2 means the game will finish in their favour but that wasn't the case. Two fouls inside the box, first by Shubham Sarangi in the 82nd minute and then one in injury time by Francisco Dorronsoro meant that Kerala Blasters FC got the opportunity to equalize. Who stepped up to take those penalties? Skipper, Bartholomew Ogbeche and he was calm as ever and simply converted the chances to finish the game on level terms.

Wow! End of an entertaining first half. The game started with a goal in the very first minute as Manuel Onwu headed one inside from the cross of Jerry Mawihmingthanga. Kerala Blasters FC equalized from an own goal as Narayan Das' effort of clearing the ball ended up inside his own goal. In the 28th minute of the game, Messi Bouli with a powerful shot gave the away side the lead. That lead lasted just 8 minutes when Bartholomew Ogbeche made a foul on Vinit Rai and Manuel Onwu scored his brace with the free-kick. Just before half time, a foul inside the box by Raju Gaikwad gave the home side a chance to get their lead back as the referee awarded a penalty for the challenge by Raju. Their main striker, Manuel Onwu has been in good form since his arrival from Bengaluru FC and Odisha FC would rely on him to score again. Kerala Blasters FC, on the other hand, also won their last game against the defending champions, Bengaluru FC with Bartholomew Ogbeche leading from the front. Messi Bouli has played well but they have not received enough support from the others. Their defense has been vulnerable and is one of the reasons for their poor performance. They will hope that they perform well in their last game of the season. Earlier this season, when these two sides met, the match ended in a draw and let's hope that we see a winner this time.
