On Saturday, the 28th of December, Kerala Blasters FC will be hosting NorthEast United FC. That match will start at 1930 IST. Until then, goodbye.
Awards
Odisha FC collect the Club Award for winning the match this evening. Aitor Monroy is given the Limitless Player of the Match Award. Nandhakumar Sekar bags the Winning Pass of the Match Award. Shubham Sarangi takes home the Emerging Player of the Match Award and Aridane Santana is the unanimous choice for the Hero of the Match Award.
A deserving victory!
Odisha FC win the tie by 2 to 1. The hosts dug deep to hold on to the one-goal advantage after Aridane Santana put them in the lead with a volleyed goal at the stroke of half time. The second half saw both sides having few chances on goal. However, if Aridane Santana scored the winner in the first half, he came to the hosts' rescue in injury time when he cleared Memo Moura's goalbound effort off the line. He proved to be the star at both the ends of the pitch. The win takes the hosts to 6th place, it is also their second victory in three games. Jamshedpur FC, on the other hand, are stuck in a rut. They have picked up only 3 points in their last 5 games, losing two matches on the trot. The day, however, belonged to Odisha FC, who have their next two games at this venue itself.

What a thrilling first half we have witnessed at the Kalinga Stadium! The game was a slow starter with nothing much happening and no clear cut chances being created by both sides. It was not until the 28th minute when Aridane Santana gave the home side the lead with the opening goal. Jamshedpur FC made a comeback courtesy Aitor Monroy's penalty. And just when it looked like it will be 1-1 at the break, Santana scored his second, which was one of the best goals of the season, to get his side into the lead. The match is turning out to be a close one. Can the Miners equalize or will Odisha FC keep the lead? Join us in a while to find out.

An exciting clash awaits!!!
After playing three home games in Pune, Odisha FC are ready to play their first match at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneshwar. These two sides have met once in October this season and it was Jamshedpur FC who came out on top back then. Odisha have scored 9 goals this season and would be looking to get more in the upcoming games. They have been highly inconsistent in attack and need to improve considerably. Aridane Santana, the best player for them this season, has lost his touch a little having failed to score in the previous 3 matches. Xisco Hernandez and Jerry Mawihmingthanga need to play good supporting roles if they want to have a chance to enter the top 4. Their defense has been not that good either. They have conceded 14 goals so far and they would hope that they perform better at home. The Men of Steel, on the other hand, started their season well but are winless in their last four matches. They are fourth on the points table and if they win, it will take them level on points with Bengaluru FC. Their main concern will be their defense as they have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last four matches. Antonio Iriondo stated in his pre-match press conference that they are going to Bhubaneshwar to win. On the attacking side, they are missing the services of Sergio Castel and it is still doubtful whether he would play against Odisha or not. Who will win in the reverse fixture?
