Adios!
That is it from this game. FC Goa go top of the table with this win. Odisha FC's chances of staying in the top 4 take a big dent. ISL action continues on Thursday, 30th January, as defending champions, Bengaluru FC welcome Hyderabad FC. That game will begin at 1930 IST. Join us for that one. Till then, take care!
Awards
FC Goa collect the Club Award for winning the match this evening. Manuel Onwu is given the Limitless Player of the Match Award. Hugo Boumous bags the Winning Pass of the Match Award. Gaurav Bora takes home the Emerging Player of the Match Award. Jackichand Singh is the Hero of the Match.
FC Goa go back to the summit of the table
What a game of football! A game certainly of two halves here. FC Goa were the better side in the first and rightfully had a three-goal advantage heading into the second 45. Odisha FC were pedestrian in the first half but came out with intent in the second. The hosts enjoyed more of the possession and they made it count as the new signing, Manuel Onwu, headed home right around the hour mark from a Narayan Das cross. Onwu then doubled his tally and brought his side back into the game with another header this time from a corner. With 25 minutes of regulation time remaining, the hosts tried their all and threw everything at it to level the game but Ferran Corominas killed all hopes of an Odisha FC comeback as he scored the fourth goal in the dying moments to take FC Goa to the top of the charts.

GOALLL!!!
Ferran Corominas kills the game and breaks all the hopes Odisha FC had. Manvir Singh gets the ball on the right. He runs forward with pace and intent, dashes to the byline and tries to pull it back as Diawandou Diagne puts a tackle. The ball deflects off Narayan Das and goes to Ferran Corominas in the centre. Coro keeps his calm and slots it on the right top corner for another goal of the season.

GOALLL!!!
Odisha FC have reduced the deficit to just one goal now. We certainly have a game on here! FC Goa are losing the plot and the home side has around 25 minutes plus the additional time to equalize here. Martin Guedes takes the corner from the left. He whips in an outswinging ball inside the box, Manuel Onwu jumps and flicks his header. It deflects off Mourtada Fall's head and goes inside the back of the net. The home side has looked like a team rejuvenated here in the second half and the new signing has his second of the match on his debut.

First change of the game and it sees the man with the brace, Jackichand Singh, make way for Manvir Singh. He has had a good game and Jackichand would be a bit disappointed as he won't be able to get a hat-trick.

Goa on the attack!
The last goal has not gone down well with FC Goa! They are on the charge. Ferran Corominas collects the loose ball in the midfield and passes it on in the path of Brandon Fernandes. Brandon enters the box from the left side but is late in releasing his kick. By the time he pulls the trigger, Francisco Dorronsoro has thrown himself in the way. The ball though deflects back to Brandon who runs across to his left and then swings in a cross at the far end. Hugo Boumous rises to head it in but Francisco does well to collect it. Phew, Odisha FC survive from going 3 goals down again.
59'
GOALLL!!!
Odisha FC have pulled one back and this game is certainly not over! Narayan Das gets the ball on the right flank, he moves forward with it and sees up to find Manuel Onwu inside the box. He whips in a perfect cross to find Onwu who is unmarked inside the box. He jumps and heads it at the far post to pull one back for his side. First goal for the new signing and could we see a comeback from the home team?

Better half for the home side
Odisha FC are looking more organized and are having more of the ball in this half so far but they will need to find a way to unlock the away side's defense and pull one back as soon as possible to have a chance to make a comeback in this game.
50'
Cross straight to keeper
Jackichand Singh whips in a powerful cross from the right but it is straight to Francisco Dorronsoro who takes it easily.
46'
Second half!
The referee blows his whistle and it's the home side who get us underway this time.
FC Goa dominate the half!
What a superb half of football if you are an FC Goa fan. They have enjoyed most of the ball possession and are well on course to take all three points. They lead by three goals, courtesy a deflection of Vinit Rai and a brace from Jackichand Singh. They were all over Odisha FC and found the opener when Edu Bedia's free kick went into the back of the net after a deflection from Vinit Rai. 3 minutes later Jackichand Singh doubled the lead. Though there was some confusion as to whether Ferran Corominas, who was off side, was involved in the play or not. In the 27th minute Jackichand was once again in action as he slotted home from Hugo Boumous low cross to put the half in the bed. Odisha FC thought they had an equaliser when Manuel Onwu slotted home but the linesman had his flag up for off side. Those 6 frantic minutes have made it very difficult for Odisha FC to take anything from this game. But as they say anything can happen in a football game, so this match is not over yet. Can Odisha FC forge a miraculous comeback or will FC Goa maintain their lead?
45'
Half time
The referee blows the whistle and brings an end to the first half.
45'
Added time
2 minutes have been added on at the end of the 45 minutes.
45'
Another corner
One more corner for FC Goa. This time it is whipped into the box by Edu Bedia but he has hit it with a lot of power and Odisha FC have no problem dealing with that.
39'
Showing some fight
After being on the back foot for the majority of this half, the home side is having a bit more of the ball but they are unable to make Mohammad Nawaz work and are struggling to find that final ball.
33'
Off side
The home side thought they had pulled one back but the linesman has his flag up for offside. Vinit Rai plays a through ball from the centre to the right. Xisco Hernandez leaves it smartly for Manuel Onwu who slots it home first time but the linesman feels he has made his run a bit early and raises the flag up for off side. Odisha FC still trail by 3.
32'
Mishit
Jackichand Singh gets the ball on the right, don't know whether he was trying to shoot from there for his hat-trick or trying to cross it first time but it connects with his shin and goes out for a goal kick.
27'
GOALLL!!!
FC Goa have tripled their lead in no time here and once again it's Jackichand Singh. A quickfire brace for him and it looks like Odisha FC are out of this game already. Hugo Boumous gets the ball on the left, he dashes forward with it and drills in at the far post towards Jackichand Singh who slots it home. Odisha FC falling like a pack of cards here.

A bit of confusion but in the end the referee has awarded a goal here. FC Goa have doubled their lead. Brandon Fernandes plays a through ball on the left to find Mandar Rao Dessai. He dashes with it and then pulls it back inside the box to find Jackichand Singh who hits it first time and Ferran Corominas who is in an offside position looks to duck under it and does so. Francisco Dorronsoro cannot see the ball and it goes in. The assistant referee thinks it's offside but after having a word with the referee it has been awarded as a goal.

FC Goa have broken the deadlock and taken the lead they very well deserve. Out of all the things, it is an own goal which gives them the lead. Edu Bedia takes the free kick, Vinit Rai tries to head it but his deflection sees the ball go in the back of his own net. Francisco Dorronsoro cannot do anything because he is wrong-footed and cannot even move. It has been awarded as an own goal.

Can FC Goa breach the fortress?
Match 69 of the Indian Super League sees FC Goa visit Bhubaneshwar to meet Odisha FC, with the former aiming to go top of the points table. Odisha have not lost yet at their home ground but will face a tough task against the Gaurs. In the hosts' last game against Bengaluru FC, their defense came under the scanner as they lost 3-0. If they lose here too, they will be in danger of missing out on the play-offs. They will be aiming for victory over the Gaurs and move further away from Mumbai City FC on 5th spot. Odisha FC though are not short of problems as Aridane Santana has been ruled out of the tournament due to a serious injury while Marcos Tebar is also injured. They have loaned in Manuel Onwu from Bengaluru and they would hope that if he plays, he comes good. Their midfield is bolstered by the return of Vinit Rai. Their defence looks suspect with Shubham Sarangi and Carlos Delgado suspended. FC Goa, on the other hand, won their last game against Kerala Blasters FC. If they win this, they will move to the top of the table. Their attacking duo has worked wonders with Ferran Corominas and Hugo Boumous doing a fantastic job. They have been dealt a heavy blow though as midfield metronome Ahmed Jahouh has been suspended for this game. These two sides have met once before and it was FC Goa who came out trumps. Will they repeat it or will Odisha FC roar in Bhubaneshwar again?
