Goal fest going on
4 goals already but Hyderabad FC are ahead with a comfortable lead. The game started with Hyderabad FC attacking from the word go. In the 3rd minute of the game, Adil Khan headed the ball into the goal but the referee termed it offside. However, Hyderabad FC scored 2 in 2 minutes as Liston Colaco and Marcelo Pereira made amends for their missed chances. The lead could've been even bigger but Pawan Kumar made a few vital saves as he made up for his mistake in the build-up to the first goal. NorthEast United FC pulled one back with Andrew Keogh heading the ball into the goal in the 35th minute. However, Liston Colaco's second goal of the night in the 41st minute saw Hyderabad FC get their 2-goal lead back. It is Hyderabad FC who made more attacks and the scoreline suggests that. The defending from either side has not been upto the mark and once they return, they will look to do a lot better in this half. NorthEast United FC need to convert their chances if they are to make their home fans happy in this game. Let's see how it pans out in the final 45.

Matchday!!!
Two teams sitting at the bottom of the table take on each other today in the Indian Super League. NorthEast United FC at no. 9 is ready to host bottom-ranked Hyderabad FC who are playing their final game of the season. Both the teams have had a torrid season so far and they would be eager to finish it on a winning note. The hosts started the season on a decent note but lost their way midway and failed to bag all three points. Their last win came against Hyderabad FC only but it was way back in November. In the absence of their star player Asamoah Gyan, their campaign took a massive dive with the likes of Redeem Tlang and Martin Chaves struggling to find the back of the net. The side has done well defensively with Mislav Komorski and Kai Heering leading the pack but the support from the attacking front saw them crumble too and lose important points. With just two games left, the Highlanders will look to give their fans some happiness in their last two games. Hyderabad FC too have had a forgettable debut season. They have been winless in the last 9 games as their victory coming against Kerala Blasters FC in November. The team would once again look at Marcelo Pereira and Bobo for goals. The fans who have been supporting the team with all their heart would love to see the team sign off with a victory.
