Wait continues for NorthEast
A high-intensity football of 90 minutes has failed to produce a victor. The first half ended goalless but we got our first goal right at the beginning of the second. A mistake from Kamaljit Singh in the box gave Borges the chance to get his name on the scoresheet. But FC Pune City didn't sit back as they came right back into the game in the 69th minute and tied things up. Second half was full of action including the number of bookings in it. In total, six yellow cards were presented to the players and a red to NorthEast United FC's midfielder. The Highlanders had to play with 10 men in the ending moments. Points will be shared between both the teams. With this draw, still two spots are up for grabs in the playoff.
