Bengaluru FC leave it late
What a game this turned out to be! Bengaluru FC have scored in the dying minutes to keep their unbeaten streak alive. The teams entered into the second half all level. The second 45 also started slowly, however, it came to life once the hosts scored the opener through Federico Gallego in the 64th minute. The game then opened up as Bengaluru FC then looked for the equalizer, whereas, the hosts tried to hit on the counter. Chances then fell to both but none of the teams could take it. Just as it seems it would be the home team which would take all three points, Chencho Gyeltshen scored a spectacular goal to ensure the points were shared.

He then, chests it but the touch is too heavy and Ogbeche takes it away. The keeper then tries to kick the ball but ends up kicking Ogbeche. Stalemate after the first 45
A very tactical half is what we witnessed here. There were not a lot of chances created in this one. However, the hosts were the one who had the best chance of the game. It fell to Federico Gallego whose effort was saved by Gurpreet Singh Sandhu. Leaving that apart, the two teams struggled to break the defences of their opposition. They will have to come out with some more flair in the second 45. With the attack prowess the teams posses, we can surely expect a better second half.

Offside?
Provat Lakra chips a ball over the Bengaluru FC defense for Bartholomew Ogbeche. The latter knows he is off side and hence does not go for it. Albert Serran however, runs after the ball. Bartholomew Ogbeche spots that and waits for him to touch the ball. As soon as the defender touches it, the forward intercepts the pass and then kicks it into goal. The linesman however, had his flag up. The NorthEast United FC coach is not a hapy man.

Welcome to match no. 49 of the Indian Super League. It is a top of the table, heavyweight clash between no. 1 and no. 2 on the table. Runaway leaders Bengaluru FC travel to Guwahati to face the Highlanders, who are breathing down their necks. Their head to head so far doesn't do for good reading for the hosts. 2 matches played, both won by the boys in blue. This season though, could be different. NorthEast United have had an amazing start to the season and much of it has to be attributed to their inspirational striker and captain, Bartholomew Ogbeche. He is on 8 goals and in running for the highest scorer of the league. Their defense has been tight too, just conceding 8 goals in 9 games played so far. As for Bengaluru, they have been the pace setters and runaway leaders this season. They are unbeaten so far and also have 6 wins in a row. But this could be their toughest game so far. In case the hosts win, the lead between 1 and 2 will cut down to just one point, whereas if the visitors win, they will go 7 points clear at the top. This game should be a fun watch with a lot of stars playing. Live action isn't far away. Don't go anywhere!
