Goodbye!
That's all from this game. Mumbai City FC move up to fourth on the points table while NorthEast United FC are still struggling at the bottom half of the table. On Saturday, 1st February, Kerala Blasters FC host Chennaiyin FC, That match will start at 1930 IST. Until then, cheers.

Big win!
Mumbai City FC held on to their one-goal lead in the first half to win and storm into 4th spot at the expense of Odisha FC. Diego Carlos' strike at the end of the first half proved enough to take the hosts through. NorthEast United FC were better in the second half but the visitors could only fashion half-chances. The Islanders deserved their win on the balance of play as the Highlanders only managed a single shot on target, which was a scuffed shot from Simon Lundevall and Amrinder Singh held it with ease. A comfortable win at home against a team that has been winless in 9 matches. The visitors remain in 9th, having scored only 9 goals in 13 matches.

Hosts in the lead
1-0 to Mumbai City FC, courtesy Diego Carlos' 44th minute strike. In the balance of play, the Islanders edged the tight half. However, for all their bright play, their only shot on target was Diego Carlos' effort on goal. That strike was the only shot on target in the entire half. NorthEast United FC matched the hosts but both teams were poor in front of goal. Diego Carlos has deserved his goal, he has been the best player on the pitch. Will the Highlanders make a comeback? Find out in the second half.

Matchday!!!
Game 71 of the ISL sees a clash between Mumbai City FC and NorthEast United FC. The hosts would love a victory here as that would see them head into the top 4. They head into this encounter after a last minute draw against Hyderabad. They though will be very confident of a win here as they beat Bengaluru FC in their last home game and they are up against a struggling NorthEast United FC side. The visitors are just above the team at the last spot and have failed to score in their last three games. Infact they have just scored the one goal in their last 5 games. They need to get back to winning ways though and that too starting from this game or their hopes of qualifying will take a big dent. The hosts are favourites but will we see a surprise?
