Edu Bedia dropped the first blood in the first half in the 28th minute. The visitors went into the half time break with the lead. They started the second half in a somewhat defensive note while Mumbai City FC started it brightly but were unable to get the ball past Mohammad Nawaz. The Spaniard converted it from the spot to double FC Goa's lead and also became the highest goal-scorer in the ISL history. FC Goa in the driving seat
FC Goa go into the half time with their noses in front. The away side started the game on the front foot and attacked the hosts straight from the first minute. They constantly pressurized the Mumbai City FC defense and their attack. This pressure finally bore fruit as Edu Bedia opened the scoring. Mumbai City FC need to be calm as 3 players have been booked so far and one might feel the way Milan Singh has been playing, a red looks very close. They will need to do better with the ball and win the midfield battle. FC Goa would like to continue with the same tempo in the next half as well, whereas Mumbai City FC will have to do better and come up with something magical. The second half starts in a bit, join us in a while.

Mouthwatering clash!
Beaten black and blue in their previous meeting, Mumbai City FC will be seeking revenge when they host FC Goa this evening. The Islanders have been a completely different unit post that battering and are currently on a hot nine-match unbeaten streak. Currently sitting pretty at number two in the points table, the hosts will like to further strengthen their position by getting one over the Gaurs. They will be very much on cloud nine after halting Bengaluru's victory juggernaut and have the momentum on their side. The visitors are also in the top 4 at the moment and with the race to playoff intensifying, they won't like to drop any points. They were denied a win in their last game where Jamshedpur FC held them to a draw. FC Goa are a free-flowing attacking unit but that also comes with a price as they leak quite a bit in defense. It's going to be a tough one for their forward line as Mumbai's defense has been watertight of late, with most clean sheets this season. The performance of Ferran Corominas will be the key in this clash. With two highly motivated teams locking horns, we are expecting nothing less than a cracking contest.
