See ya!
So Mumbai City go 5th with this win, temporarily at least, while Delhi Dynamos remain 8th. The next clash should be a mouth-watering one. FC Goa will host bottom-placed FC Pune City at 1930 IST on Sunday. Two attacking teams, and if they click, will produce entertainment. Do join in for that. Take care!
Awards
The Club Award is given to Mumbai City FC for winning this game. The Limitless Player of the Match is Modou Sougou and the Winning Pass of the Match goes to Rafael Bastos. While the Emerging Player is Ravi Kumar, the Hero of the Match is Arnold Issoko.
Full Time
Second win of the season for Mumbai City as they take all three points at home. Were clearly the better side as they got one over the Dynamos who remain winless this season. The visitors only started the game well, but after those initial few minutes it was mostly one-way traffic. The hosts scored in the 30th minute, then again in the 70th minute (Arnold Issoko), and had a penalty missed as well (Rafael Bastos). This win is largely down to some good combination play between Modou Sougou and Arnold Issoko, with Rafael Bastos doing a fine job in midfield. The Dynamos weren't in this contest at all. Got outplayed in all departments and you could say deserved to lose. A much-needed win for the home side. They will be quite happy with the points.
90'
It's over
Mumbai City FC manage to hold on to their 2-goal lead and keep the Dynamos at bay.
90'
Delhi come close
Skipper Pritam Kotal lofts it across from the right towards Romeo Fernandes at the far post. He shoots it first time on the half volley and forces a good save from Ravi Kumar who gets low and keeps it out.
90'
Added Time
4 minutes added to this final half. 4 minutes for Delhi Dynamos to get something out of this game.
85'
Not much happening
Seems the game is just dragging out now. Delhi don't really look like scoring. Still 5 minutes plus stoppage time left. Can they muster something up and make something happen?
79'
Modou Sougou subbed off
The scorer of Mumbai City's first goal is taken off. He is replaced by Matias Mirabaje who will face his former team.

GOAL! 2-0!
That should be the game. Bastos plays Arnold Issoko through. He pokes it past his marker and has acres of space in front. Francisco Dorronsoro comes out of the penalty box, fails to clear and Issoko scores in an open goal.

Needless challenge
Sees yellow for it. Andrija Kaludjerovic clips Goian cynically from behind. Knew what was coming after that.

Yellow card
Bikramjit Singh makes a rash sliding challenge on Joyner Lourenco and goes into the ref's book instantly. Bit harsh. In his defense, he did get the ball.

What a save from Ravi Kumar!
The ball deflects and falls to Chhangte on the right-hand side inside the penalty area. He shoots first time, looking it curl it inside the far top corner. Keeper makes a good save.
64'
Dorronsoro almost pays the price
Makes a blunder of the clearance as he plays it straight to Arnold Issoko. The Mumbai winger looks to chip it over the keeper's head but it goes over the crossbar.
59'
Off the crossbar
Great effort from Andrija Kaludjerovic. The forward is put through inside the box on the right. He doesn't think twice and just shoots on goal. A lot of power behind it, despite the narrow angle it goes off the crossbar and goes away from danger.
58'
Alert goalkeeping
Sehnaj Singh chips it forward and Arnold Issoko runs with it. Delhi are playing a high line, so Arnold pokes it past the defender, a long way ahead and just runs into the empty space. Francisco Dorronsoro reads the situation early, however, as he comes out of the box and clears it away.
51'
MISSED!
He's put it wide. Sends the keeper the wrong way. All he had to do was slide it in, but he hit it wide of the right-hand post.
49'
PENALTY FOR MUMBAI CITY!
Oh, dear! A rash challenge which sees Rana Gharami go in the book. Yellow card for him. Arnold Issoko is bursting forward on the break from the left, he gets inside the box, pokes it forward and Gharami slides without getting any of the ball. Stonewall penalty. The ref points to the spot and Rafael Bastos will take this...

Second Half
We are back. The Second 45 gets underway with the home side kicking things off. Will Delhi Dynamos start strong? Or will Mumbai City pick up from where they left off?
Half Time
A good half for the hosts. It was a bit cagey at the beginning but then as the minutes passed by, the game began to open up. Mumbai City then got the opener in the 30th minute via Modou Sougou and they really picked it up from that point on. Got on the front foot and took the attack to the visitors. The Dynamos were doing decently till they conceded, but since have looked a bit off pace. They will take heart from the fact that they are only a goal behind. Josep Gombau will have a handful half time talk. Let's see how the away side responds in the second half.
45'
Here comes the interval
The ref blows his whistle to signal the end of the half.
45'
Added Time
Just the 1 minute of stoppage time.
40'
Mumbai on the front foot
The home side's spirits have been lifted since the goal. It is attacking with more intent and more purpose. Might just get a goal before the interval. Delhi Dynamos need to see this half out without any further damage.
33'
Another Mumbai City chance
Sougou once again in the mix of things. He gets the ball, turns at the edge of the box and shoots with his left. Too close to the keeper though, who makes a decent save.
30'
GOAL!
Mumbai City take the lead. Lovely play this. Rafael Bastos releases Arnold Issoko on the right wing with a lovely diagonal. Issoko drills in a low ball first time to the center where Modou Sougou attacks the ball and slots it past the keeper into the back of the net.

26'
Should have done better
Romeo Fernandes cuts in from the right and chips it over to the far side towards Lallianzuala Chhangte. The latter doesn't take a touch and just looks to blast it on goal first time. Skies it. Probably should have put it back in the danger area across the face of goal.
18'
Game's opening up a bit
Players are finding more space to run into, to pass it forward. Half-chances have started to come. This latest one sees Modou Sougou break forward on the right. Crosses it in, but it isn't an accurate one. Hits the side-netting.
12'
Decent effort
Didn't have much room to work with, the angle was narrow too. Standard save for the keeper. Andrija Kaludjerovic is on the left-hand side, shoots at the near post and sees his shot saved by Ravi Kumar.
9'
Tame phase of play
Some patient build-ups are seen, but no team has been able to get in behind the opposition's defense. Just the beginning, mind. Plenty of time to get their eye in.
4'
Just over!
First chance of the game and it falls to Delhi. Chhangte crosses it in from the left and Goian heads it towards the far post. Romeo Fernandes is waiting there though and he lets rip a first-time volley. Can't keep it down. Good connection on the shot though.
1'
Kick off
We are ready to get underway as Delhi Dynamos get the ball rolling. Who will make the better start to the game? Time to find out. Let's Football, folks!
Toss
Mumbai City FC win the toss and they will attack from right to left in the first half.

It's Gameday!
And it's a good one. Match 19 saw an exciting thriller between ATK and Chennaiyin FC. Goals were scored, chances were created and plenty of action took place all across the park. This contest might produce something similar. Mumbai City FC will take on Delhi Dynamos FC at the Mumbai Football Arena. The home side's defense was all over the place its last encounter against FC Goa, wherein the conceded 5 goals. The biggest problem for Mumbai City lies in their ability to play out from the back, as they lost the ball twice in the defensive third which resulted in a goal. It could pose some problems, as Delhi are still looking for their first win of the season and will try to come at them hard. The visitors aren't too great at the back either, but they're being bailed out by their keeper Francisco Dorronsoro. He has made most number of saves in the league so far (14) and has a save accuracy of 77.77. Only Dheeraj and Gurpreet singh have a better save accuracy. Could be a goal-fest if the forwards of either side get going.
