Chennaiyin FC came out in the second half hoping to find the equaliser but it was Mumbai City FC who once again found the back of the net, this time it was Modou Sougou who was at the right place when Rafael Bastos' shot deflected off the defender and fell kindly to Sougou. Chennaiyin FC kept pressurising the hosts' backline but to no avail. Where do Chennaiyin FC go from here? They cannot find a way to win. What a half of football we have had here in Mumbai. The game started slowly but the home side started growing in the game and found the opener in the 27th minute courtesy Raynier Fernandes. The host were so close to doubling their lead at the end of the half when Modou Sougou's effort rattled the crossbar. Chennaiyin FC need to do better here. The best chance for them fell to Carlos Salom, whose effort was saved by Amrinder Singh. Chennaiyin FC have hardly had any clear-cut chances. It's not over yet.
