Full time here in Kerala. A game with flurry of chances for both teams but neither were able to capatalise on them and take the lead. After the first half which saw Sahal Abdul Samad hit the post and later on his effort was cleared away off the goal line the half ended goalless but it was clear that this game would not end that way and it did not. Carlos Calvo opened the scoring in the 66th minute from the spot after Tim Cahill was brought down by Dheeraj Singh, it looked like it was outside the box, but the refree with the help of his assistant decided otherwise. The Blasters kept pushing for the equaliser and on the 76th minute they once again saw their effort cleared off the line, this time it was Seiminlem Doungel whose effort was cleared away by Mario Arques. The visitors though could not hold onto their lead for too long, as Kerala equalised in the 77th minute through Seiminlen Doungel after some sloppy defending by Jamshedpur FC. Dheeraj Singh was called out to pull out an amazing save in the 83rd minute after Farukh Choudhary was through on goal. In the end both teams will be unhappy that they couldn't seal all three points but would also be satisfied that they didn't lose the game.

Goalless at half time
A good half of football here in Kerala but it remains goalless. Both teams had chances to take the lead but were unable to capitalize on it. The Blasters had the better of the chances, they were inches away from opening the scoring in the 21st minute when Sahal Abdul Samad's effort rattled off the cross bar. He once again came close in the 34th minute, this time his effort was cleared off the line by Memo. Jamshedpur FC's best chance fell to substitute Jerry Mawhmingthanga who was through on goal but his shot was saved by Dheeraj Singh. We have seen two hamstring injuries though in the first half. Keziron Kizito was replaced by Courage Pekuson for the home side and Michael Soosairaj was replaced by Jerry Mawhmingthanga. The second half will start soon and it seems like we are not far away from seeing a goal in this game. Join us in a bit for the start of the second half.

Doungel turns and fires it towards goal but Memo on the line sticks his boot out and clears it away.

For match 48 of the Indian Super League between Kerala Blasters FC and Jamshedpur FC. This is an important fixture for both the teams for different reasons. The hosts are winless in their last 8 matches and would want to end thier winless drought and try to stay in touch with the rest of the pack to finish in the top 4. They are yet to win a home game this season and if they want to finish in the top 4 it is very important for them to start winning matches in their own backyard. Jamshedpur FC would like to go back in to the top 4. After Mumbai's win yesterday they are now on the 5th place. A win here will see them leapfrog Mumbai City FC, FC Goa and NorthEast United FC into the 2nd spot.
