We have witnessed a game which will be remembered for ages! There were a total of 9 goals in the game. 6 from the Super Machans and 3 from Kerala Blasters FC. In the first half, Chennaiyin FC after looking like being in deep sleep for most parts suddenly woke up and scored 3 goals in no time. Kerala Blasters FC came back with a lot of intent in the next 45. Three minutes into the second half, Bartholomew Ogbeche scored one to give themselves a chance. Soon after, Chennaiyin FC added one more to their tally to make it 4-1 but Kerala Blasters FC were not ready to give up yet. They scored 2 more goals in quick time to get themselves back in the game. What a first half we have had! The game was going nowhere in the first 35 minutes or so and then it suddenly came to life. Rafael Crivellaro started the scoring in the 39th minute after a goal-keeping error and it was followed by a goal from Nerijus Valskis and another one by Rafael Crivellaro. They started slowly and all of a sudden started attacking more. Chennaiyin FC were rewarded with 3 goals in no time. Those last five minutes before the half time was mayhem and Kerala Blasters FC will be shocked at what has happened in the game so far. They had more possession of the ball but could not make much use of it. They did not trouble Vishal Kaith much in this half and would be looking to attack more in the second half.
