Adios!
Right then, we have witnessed yet another draw today. On Wednesday, Odisha FC will play host to the other unbeaten team, Bengaluru FC. Match starts at 1930 IST. Goodbye and take care.
Awards
The Club Award is shared as this game ended in a draw. Panagiotis Triadis collects the Limitless Player of the Match Award. Asamoah Gyan is given the Winning Pass of the Match Award while Narender Gahlot is chosen for the ISL Emerging Player of the Match Award. Last but not least, Farukh Choudhary is the choice for the Hero of the Match Award!
Slow pot boiler!
It ends all level at the JRD Tata Sports Complex. NorthEast United FC will feel like they have stolen daylight. They were put under the cosh all through out the match. The Men of Steel took the lead in the 28th minute and were all in control right through the first whistle. However they only had a goal to show for their dominance. The hosts will feel undone because some poor challenges by the Highlanders went unpunished in the final 45. One such challenge, blunted Jamshedpur FC's attack as Sergio Castel had to be withdrawn through injury in the second half. However, the counter attacking game which NorthEast United FC played, bore fruit in the 90th minute when Panagiotis Triadis ran on to Asamoah Gyan's flick on to draw level. So a 6th draw in the ISL on the trot this term. When will we finally see a winner in this league?

46'
Play resumes
The Highlanders get us underway. They have their work cut out if they are to preserve their unbeaten run.
Jamshedpur FC with the lead
It has been an excellent half for the hosts. They go into the break with the lead. Not much was happening in the early stages of the game but the 28th minute, saw Sergio Castel scoring to put the Men of Steel ahead. They have dominated the game so far and would be hoping to continue that in the second half as well. NorthEast United FC, on the other hand, had a quite a few attempts on goal but could not convert it. They need something special from their attackers to level things up and have a crack at the win. Can the visitors equalize in the second half? We will have to wait and watch.
45'

39'
Over!
Sergio Castel takes the ball from the midfield and then rushes forward. He passes it to Farukh Choudhary who gives it to Noe Acosta. Noe Acosta takes the shot, hits Reagan Singh and it goes over the crossbar for a corner.
37'
Jamshedpur FC still with the lead
The hosts are still dominating the game and they look very good out there to win the game. NorthEast United FC need something special to get back in this game.
32'
Inches wide
Sergio Castel could have doubled his tally there. Aitor Monroy from the left launches it long towards Memo Moura at the far post. His center is blocked by a defender. The ball falls to Farukh Choudhary, who zips the ball back in. Sergio Castel meets it with a fancy flick but it is inches wide of the near post.

The Men of Steel vs the Highlanders
Today’s match in the ISL sees unbeaten NorthEast United FC travel to Jamshedpur FC. There is little to separate these two sides, both these teams have scored 7 goals and conceded 5 goals in their 5 games so far. The Highlanders have played out two 1-nil victories and a goalless draw on their tours so far. They are still to concede on their travels. Asamoah Gyan has been the leading light in attack for the Highlanders. He has been ably supported by the three men behind him, Panagiotis Triadis, Redeem Tlang and Martin Chaves. The hosts, on the other hand, are on a mission to make JRD Tata Sports Complex, their home stadium, a fortress, having won two and drawn one of their home games. They’ll be a handful to contain. The opposition head coach, Robert Jarni, has gone on record to state that Jamshedpur FC are the best side in the ISL. The Men of Steel were the only side to earn all three points in a match against Goa this term. Jamshedpur FC also edge the head to head record against NorthEast United FC, with 3 draws and a win in four matches. In Sergio Castel, the hosts have the joint leading goalscorer of this edition of the ISL. Losing the creativity of Piti through an injury doesn’t dent the solid midfield combination of Aitor Monroy, Memo Moura, and Noe Acosta. Will these two teams force a result? Or are we in for a sixth consecutive draw? A tantalizing fixture awaits.
