Another away victory!
Mumbai City FC win their second game on the trot by a goal's margin. They win in the JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur, by 2 goals to 1. Although they remain fifth and Jamshedpur FC fourth, the Islanders are level on points with the Men of Steel, behind only on goal difference. They were first to score in the 15th minute through Paulo Machado. Tiri did level the proceedings with a bullet header from close range but in the 37th minute. Like the first half and against the run of play, Mumbai City FC scored the second goal in the final half. The numerical advantage for only two minutes proved too much and the Islanders held their nerve right till the end to win the game. Jamshedpur FC tried hard to level but were unable to. Two consecutive wins mean the visitors have turned a corner in their season. Their away form is up there with the best in the league. They now face two consecutive home games in the following matches. The hosts on the other hand, are winless in four games.

Matchday!
The 41st match in the ISL sees Jamshedpur FC play host to Mumbai City FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur. A 4-0 win will see the hosts take the top spot, against the buoyant Islanders that won’t be easy. The visitors come into this game on the back of a win against the defending champions Bengaluru FC. They are unbeaten on the road, having scored in 7 of the 8 games they’ve played so far. Mumbai City FC may not be goal shy but they also have the dubious tag of being the league’s second leakiest defence. In the last 5 of the 6 matches, the Islanders have conceded at least two or more goals. To the extent that their last clean sheet came back in October. Dealing with the attack-minded Jamshedpur FC, will not be easy for them. The hosts themselves are going through a winless December so far. They have drawn their last three games and will be without the injured Sergio Castel, their leading goalscorer. Farukh Choudhary has been their leading light upfront, well supported by the likes of Aitor Monroy, Piti, Narendra Gahlot, and Sumeet Passi. CK Vineeth got on the score sheet scoring against his former club in their last game. The Men of Steel are brimming with talent but they have developed a bad habit of surrendering a lead and settling for a draw. Head Coach, Antonio Iriondo will want to address this weakness and win again. Will Jamshedpur FC get back to winning ways? Or will the Islanders win back-to-back matches for the first time this season? Or are we going to see the Men of Steel play out their 4th consecutive draw? Find out at 1930 IST.
