Awards!
The Club Award goes to HFC for winning the game. The Hero of the Match Award goes to Odei Onaindia.
HFC hang on!
That is a really good defensive display from HFC! JFC though will feel a touch unlucky. They had their opportunities but failed to take them and that is want cost them. They dominated the first half and started the second better but HFC scored on the first chance they got courtesy Mohammad Yasir. After that, it was a solid display from their defense. They then tries to hit on the counter but failed to score any more. Bartholomew Ogbeche had two decent chances but failed to take both. JFC on the other hand, completely lost the momentum after they conceded. They then struggled to creat clear cut chances. They did have one right at the end which fell to Ishan Pandita. He should have scored but failed to hit the target. A hard-fought win then in the end for HFC!

Golden chance!
Ishan Pandita should have done better! He should have hit the target there and he knows it. A long ball from JFC's half goes over the defense and finds Ishan Pandita who is free and is one on one with the keeper. He has a strike but blasts the volley over. Big chance.

Yellow card!
That could have been a red, easily! The ball is lobbed towards the HFC box. The defender looks to head it back towards the keeper. He fumbles as he tries to collect and now the ball rolls outside the box on the left. He is pressurized by a JFC forward and eventually ends up handling the ball. The referee awards a free kick and a yellow. Nothing off the free kick though.

SAVED!
That is a good save! Good work from JFC, a good build-up. They have the ball on the left. It is passed to an attacker in the box in the centre. He holds the defender well and then lays it off for Peter Hartley who strikes it towards goal but the keeper dives to his left and saves it.
66'
WIDE!
You expect Bartholomew Ogbeche to do a lot better! Nikhil Poojary does brilliantly on the left flank. He goes past the defender ahead of him and then chips it towards the far post. Bartholomew Ogbeche leaps high and then heads into the ground but wide of the target.
63'
Big chance!
HFC had a big chance to make it 2-0! It falls to Halicharan Narzary who scuffs it. He is set through on the left inside the box. He has a lot of space and looks to blast it but ends up miscuing it, it falls to Bartholomew Ogbeche but his shot is blocked. The keeper then collects the ball in the box and the danger ends.

The corner is towards the far post and it is punched out towards Hitesh Sharma. He heads it from outside the box but it goes over the goal.

GOALLL!!!
HFC have found the back of the net! Completely against the run of play. It is JFC who have dominated the game so far but it is HFC who have taken the lead. Bartholomew Ogbeche lays it off for Halicharan Narzary on the left. He cuts it back in towards the centre of the box. It takes a deflection of the JFC defender and goes to Mohammad Yasir on the right. He brings it onto his left foot and then takes a shot towards the near post. It goes past a few bodies, beats the dive of the keeper and into the net. 1-0 to HFC!

Second essay!
We are back for the second half! HFC make a change, Borja Herrera comes in for Javier Siverio! It is JFC who get us underway! Here we go...
JFC will be the happier side right now!
It was an unusual half for HFC who failed to test the keeper once, to create a proper chance to be precise. Unlike JFC, they failed to get their forwards in the game more. Both, Javier Siverio and Bartholomew Ogbeche were left feeling alone at the top as they struggled to touch the ball once in the box. Credit to JFC to stop them. They had more chances and had a big one when Daniel Chukwu tried to score at 20 minutes. JFC continued to test the keeper till the last minute but the only thing missing was the goal. Now then, JFC have the momentum and will look to score early on while HFC will look to bring Bartholomew Ogbeche more into the game and makes it an interesting second half.

Booked!
Harry Sawyer takes an unnecessary yellow card or you can say one for the team. He stops Akash Mishra from back and gets in the book, all in the opposition half.

JFC continue to create chances!
Till now, the first half belongs to JFC! They are the better team with the forwards heavily involved but need to find the goal before the half-time.

Change!
Laxmikant Kattimani is the second man to leave the ground a bit more earlier than expected. He was feeling the pain since that collision with Harry Sawyer and cannot continue further. Anuj Kumar replaces him.

Laldinpuia Pachuau is feeling some discomfort after a tackle from an HFC player and unfortunately, he can't continue further. Farukh Choudhary comes in place of him.

A big, big chance!
What happened there? Daniel Chukwu has a free header as he is just yards out to find the back of the net. He heads it straight into the hands of Laxmikant Kattimani who collects and backtracks a bit. JFC are claiming that the keeper crossed the line but the official denies it.
16'
Battle in the middle!
A slow start to the game. HFC with the ball but JFC have hold their position well. A superb chance comes for JFC. Boris Singh on the left flank shows his speed as he runs past Nikhil Poojary. The only thing missing was a good final pass.
12'
HFC with the ball!
HFC have hold possession but nothing for JFC to worry as it's in their own half. 10 minutes have gone by and HFC are yet to create a proper chance.
6'
Good start!
JFC will be happy with the start. They already tested the keeper once and are pressing high, not allowing HFC to play on their own terms.
2'
First shot on target!
A positive start by JFC! Boris Singh gets the ball in the attacking third. He turns and has a go but his shot is well cut out by the keeper.
Let's football!
It's time for the action to begin. It will be HFC who will get us underway.
National Anthem!
The players from both teams walk out as they line up for the Indian National Anthem.

Intense battle on the cards!
We are ready for the clash between two teams that went on a dream run in the previous season. HFC went on to beat KBFC in the final and became the Hero ISL 2021–22 champions, while JFC lifted the League Winner's Shield. Hyderabad FC have continued their form and are still unbeaten in the league, but Jamshedpur FC are yet to find their right combination, and that was bound to happen as they are playing under a new coach. To provide a challenge in this game, their foreign signing, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, will need to step up and contribute, along with Chima Chukwu, who has been decent upfront. HFC, on the other hand, have the momentum on their side and they will look to continue it, but they will also be weary of the fact that they are still searching for their first ever win over JFC, and it will not be that easy as they know that their opponents will have the backing of the home fans. However, with players like Ogbeche, Victor, and Yasir, they have the upper hand in this one. The last time these two sides met, Jamshedpur FC won 3-0, and they will look for something similar to get their second win of the season.
Matchweek 6!
Matchweek 6!
It is time for Matchweek 6 in the Hero ISL 2022–23, and we are in for an exciting clash between Hyderabad FC and Jamshedpur FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex. Both teams have had contrasting results so far, as HFC are sitting pretty at the top with four wins and one draw, while the hosts are struggling at the bottom half with only one win in their bag. However, JFC has a pretty good record against HFC in the Hero ISL, as they have never lost a game against them. Although they will be motivated enough to get a win here, a major setback for them will be the injury to Eli Sabia. HFC will look to continue their unbeaten run, whereas JFC will throw everything at getting their season back on track. Will we get a winner here?
